ON LOCATION | ACAC’s ART PARTY

Following its triumphant return last fall, Atlanta Contemporary Art Center’s Art Party on Saturday, Sept. 13 drew an impressive crowd of artists and local art enthusiasts to the Westside space for an indoor-outdoor soiree complete with live DJs, eats and drinks from local restaurants, 14 open artist studios, installations and more. Artists including Nathan Sharratt, Sarah Emerson, Michi Meko and Stephanie Dowda opened their workspaces to give guests an intimate look at their creative processes. Inside, a handful of artists had paintings, photographs and other installations set up as part of the Exquisite Exhibit: Parlour Games opening from the Studio Artist Program, while chef Tyler Williams mixed things up by creating a work of art set to music and using food as his materials outside on the VIP Pavilion.
