TOP 5 | Atlanta Streets Alive

+ See the sights: It’s no secret that Atlanta is hot as the dickens this time of year. But resist the urge to plant yourself by the AC unit until September and explore North Highland’s scenic greenspace instead.

+ DIY: Part of an organization (or just a group of friends) that wants to host an activity? Whether it’s Kung Fu, yoga or skateboarding or something in between, just sign up and claim your spot.

+ Get active: Streets Alive started out in Bogota as a way to create space for cyclists by closing roads to cars and opening them to people. It’s since grown into a celebration of getting to know others in your community while experiencing active
transportation and outdoor recreation.

+ Try something new: Whether you want to learn self defense, finally find out what “Zumba” means or hop into a game of double-dutch, there’s an activity for everyone – no matter what your age or level of fitness.

+ Good for business: Streets Alive encourages local businesses in the Highland area to participate in the event through special discounts, sponsorship, activities and exposure through outreach.

Atlanta Streets Alive will be on Sunday, May 20th, from 2pm-6pm, along North Highland Avenue. Visit the site for more information on the route.
